Here are the most important answers about how the FretQuest™ fluency engine works, how we track progress, and how early access and founder status operate.

CORE
ENGINE

WHAT IS THE MUSICAL FLUENCY ENGINE?

The Core Engine is a high-speed neural training system designed to bridge the gap between music theory and automatic physical reflex. It uses adaptive algorithms to challenge your recognition speed under varying pressure levels.

HOW DOES THE ADAPTIVE MODULE WORK?

Our algorithms analyze your millisecond-level reaction times for every note. If your accuracy stays high, the engine increases the BPM tempo. If precision drops, it refocuses on specific fretboard bottlenecks to ensure mastery before moving forward.

IS IT ONLY FOR GUITARISTS?

The MVP launch focuses exclusively on the 6-string guitar fretboard. Future core expansions are mapped for bass, piano, and modular synthesis note-recognition modules.

ACCESS & ROADMAP

HOW DO I BECOME A FOUNDER?

Founder status is granted through the official Founders Program tiers. Select from Early Supporter, Core Builder, or apply for Founding Legend status to secure your place in FretQuest history.

WHAT IS ON THE ROADMAP?

WHAT FEATURES ARE PLANNED FOR THE FRETQUEST™ ROADMAP?

The FretQuest™ roadmap is focused on expanding musical fluency training into a deeper, more competitive, and highly customizable performance platform.

Planned feature rollouts include:

  • Full 6-string progression tracking

  • Adjustable tempo and reaction-speed scaling

  • Practice Mode for slower learning and repetition

  • Random String Mode for unpredictable recall training

  • Dynamic difficulty progression

  • Adaptive fluency engine improvements

  • Expanded accuracy and reaction analytics

  • Global multiplayer leaderboards

  • Ranked competitive challenge modes

  • Mobile and tablet builds

  • Audio interface integration for direct instrument input

  • Future microphone and note-detection systems

  • Alternate tuning support

  • Custom player performance profiles

  • Session history and progress tracking

  • Founder-exclusive badges and cosmetic rewards

  • Multiple themed UI systems including:

    • Nordic / Viking themes

    • Cyberpunk interfaces

    • Fantasy-inspired environments

    • Minimal competitive HUD layouts

Long-term development is focused on transforming FretQuest™ into a universal musical fluency platform designed to train faster note recognition, automatic recall, and measurable performance progression under pressure.

WHEN IS FULL UPLINK AVAILABLE?

The Core Engine is currently in private stress-testing. Founders gain immediate beta access, with general public release scheduled for late 2026 once performance metrics are optimized.

PROGRESS & DATA

HOW IS PROGRESS TRACKED?

FretQuest logs every session's accuracy and reaction time. Our engine analyzes patterns in your identification speed to calculate your real-time 'Fluency Index' per string.

WHAT IS THE FLUENCY INDEX?

It is a measurement of automaticity. A score above 85% with an average reaction under 800ms indicates that the note has moved from cognitive knowledge to subconscious reflex.

CAN I EXPORT MY DATA?

Founder members can access detailed CSV exports of their session history. Future updates will include automated heat maps and progress reports sent directly to your uplink.

IS PROGRESS SYNCED?

Yes. Your user profile is stored on our central engine. Whether training on desktop or tablet, your stats, rank, and history stay perfectly synchronized.
